Our Story
From our Family to Yours
We are passionate about sharing the benefits of meditation with our southwest Colorado friends, family, and neighbors and hope to expand access to the practice and its benefits for all ages.
We are honored to offer a practice of tranquility and learning, and are grateful for the opportunity to further serve our community. Thank you for supporting our small family business!
Through stillness and connection, our intention is to curate community relationships guided by kindness and compassion.
Our Team
-
Megan is an owner and operator of NSGHT Meditation alongside her husband, David (you may also know him as Obie). Her meditation journey began while pursuing her doctorate in 2019 when she realized the healing potential of the human consciousness.
She has been practicing meditation since 2019, integrating/assimilating sound energies and different visualization techniques into her practice to go beyond body, environment, and time. After completing her PhD in Clinical Psychology in 2023, she fell in love with the spiritual teachings of various thought leaders while gaining insight and training across diverse topics including psychology, quantum physics, shamanism, and hypnotherapy. Her insight into the healing practices of meditation is informed and guided by various experiences including her role as a PeaceCorps volunteer in Rwanda, criminal defense paralegal, and her current work as a trauma informed therapist.
Megan is trained in core shamanism, a visionary method aided by drumming to experience a shamanic state of consciousness. She is also a Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT) Level I intern. As an alumnus of Fort Lewis College, Megan is excited to encourage and support growth on an energetic and collective level.
